Settings & Templates
All firm-level configuration lives in Settings in the staff console. Changes take effect immediately for new cases; existing cadence schedules keep their current timing unless restarted.
Cadence days
The cadence controls how many days after each send Resoproof waits before firing the next reminder. The default is [3, 7, 14] — a reminder three days after the initial request, another at seven days, and a final one at fourteen. You can change this to any array of positive integers. For example:
[2, 5, 10, 21]— four-touch cadence over three weeks[7, 14]— two weekly reminders, then silence[1, 3, 7, 14, 30]— aggressive early, long-tail follow-up
Once all cadence steps are exhausted without the item being accepted, the schedule goes inactive and the item remains outstanding on the defense record with fault attributed to the client.
Email templates
Templates support the following merge fields:
| Field | Resolves to |
|---|---|
| {{client_name}} | The client's full name |
| {{firm_name}} | Your firm name from Settings |
| {{outstanding_items}} | Bullet list of items still outstanding |
| {{portal_link}} | The secure, no-login client portal URL |
| {{case_label}} | The label you gave this case |
There are two templates: the initial request sent when you click "Send document request", and the reminder sent by the cadence runner. Both are plain-text with HTML rendering in the email client.
Firm branding
The firm name and optional logo URLappear on the client portal header and the PDF record cover. Using a hosted logo URL (e.g. your website's logo path) keeps the portal looking on-brand.
