About Resoproof

Resoproof is built by the team at RESO.tax — tax resolution practitioners who have been on both sides of chargeback disputes and refund bank audits. We know what a refund bank adjudicator is looking for, because we've produced that evidence ourselves and reviewed it on behalf of clients.

The core problem is straightforward: tax resolution cases stall when clients don't produce their documents. When that happens, a firm is left with a stalled case and, eventually, a chargeback or a refund bank asking for proof of effort. The standard response — a folder of forwarded emails — is weak evidence. It's easy to question.

We built Resoproof to replace that with something better: a hash-chained, append-only event log that records every request, every reminder, every client action (or non-action), and produces a structured, machine-verifiable record. It's the evidence we always wanted to be able to hand over — generated automatically as a byproduct of doing the work.

The product is intentionally narrow. Resoproof does one thing: it chases your tax clients for missing documents and generates proof you did it. It doesn't replace your practice management system. It doesn't give tax advice. It gives you the defense record.

We operate RESO.tax and a network of tax resolution properties covering roughly 150 domains. That background gives us both the credibility to build this and the real-world cases to test it against.
